Support your nursing friends and colleagues facing hardship by taking on the world’s most prestigious marathon event! The Virgin Money London Marathon is a spectacular event for both experienced runners and beginners alike and attracts around 40,000 runners, all taking massive strides to support causes which matter most to them.

We’ve been gifted ONE PLACE and it could be yours for FREE!

Runners will cruise through the closed streets of London, passing iconic landmarks and thousands of screaming spectators. It’s not to be missed!

If you are our lucky runner, you’ll receive plenty of support from our friendly fundraising team so you won’t face this challenge alone. We’ll also provide training tips and fundraising support throughout your journey to the start line, and we’ll even send you a Cavell Nurses’ Trust running vest so you look the part too!

To be in with a chance of running the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon for Cavell Nurses’ Trust, please complete our short questionnaire. This will help us understand more about you, why you’d like to run for Cavell Nurses’ Trust and what kind of fundraising you might do.

We will look at all applications and choose one lucky runner to represent Cavell Nurses’ Trust. The opportunity to enter will close on Monday 16th September 2019 at 5pm.

How your support will help

By pledging to fundraise a minimum of £2,000, you’ll be helping UK nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants currently experiencing severe hardship. Your efforts will offer a lifeline to those nursing professionals struggling with a crisis, like debt, anxiety, a cancer diagnosis, domestic abuse and even homelessness. We believe that no nursing professional should face hardship alone. We’re proud to stand up for them in their time of need by providing emotional support and financial grants.
