Training

There is no specific training plan you need to complete to take part in the Snowdon Challenge. The hike is designed to be welcoming to all abilities.

However, the more prepared you are for the day, the more you are going to enjoy yourself. We encourage you to work towards completing one long walk every week in the 12 weeks leading up to the day. This will help to get your legs ready for the challenge.

Don’t forget – Snowdon is the tallest mountain in England & Wales and some sections of the walk are steep, so the more prepared you are the better.

It is highly recommended that you aim to be able to walk 10 miles over undulating terrain by the end of May.
