Public Health Nurse and Health Visitor Traci Jarvis has been awarded with a Cavell Star Award for going above and beyond for her patients’ families.
Colleague and Service Group Manager Louise Evans explains why Traci was nominated,
“Traci has been supporting vulnerable families, children and young people for many years in her role as a Health Visitor. Over the last three years Traci took on additional role in Early Help, working in partnership with Local Authority colleagues to improve holistic assessments for families needing extra support.
“Traci has also driven forward the signs of safety approach to enhance safeguarding practice across the service. This has led to improved communication, support and outcomes for some of our most vulnerable children and young people. Traci always demonstrates her full commitment and passion in everything she does and has been instrumental in driving forward this change in safeguarding practice. Thank you Traci.”
