Danielle Albon, Clinical Team Leader at Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS), has won a Cavell Star Award for going above and beyond for her colleagues.
Staff from the Lincolnshire Post-Covid Rehabilitation Service nominated their clinical team leader Danielle for the award, reflecting the support she has shown them all.
Guiding the team of 12 through challenging times, including service changes and reduced staffing levels, Danielle showed compassion and maintained cohesion.
Reflecting on winning the award, Danielle said: “I was so proud to receive this award. It was a complete surprise and very lovely of my colleagues to nominate me.
“Working with the Post-Covid team has been the highlight of my career; they are committed, compassionate, and the best team I have ever had the privilege of working alongside. I can’t thank them enough for inspiring me to be the best leader I could be.”
