A Senior nurse from Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has won a Cavell Star Award for going above and beyond for her colleagues.
Heather Moss, a Senior Sister at the Norfolk and Norwich Kidney Centre was praised by colleagues. Len O’Driscoll, Senor Sister and colleagues explains,
“We have recently moved our renal unit off site. Heather has work continuously to allow this to happen. She insured that all our staff were updated and informed of all the changes which could be very difficult at times.
“Most of the staff found change difficult but Heather was up-beat all of the time and was there for the staff to answer all of those difficult questions. This was a huge undertaking and Heather rose to the challenge. She put in so much time to insure things were done and right for her staff.
“She also enabled the patients to be part of the move. It is hard to put down everything that she has given to the unit as this move was long awaited. I just admire her tenacity and her determination.”
