Nurse Manager Jodie Johnson from St Andrews Healthcare has won a Cavell Star Award for going above and beyond for her patients.
Anthony Ndekwe, colleague and Clinical Nurse Lead explained with Jodie was such a deserving winner,
“Since coming to Spencer South Jodie has truly been a breath of fresh air! The past couple of years have been an extremely difficult period in healthcare, staff have openly felt disheartened about a job which was once considered a vocation. As a nurse manager, Jodie always goes above and beyond for her patients and colleagues by ensuring that staff feel supported and she has an “open door policy”, willing to give any of her staff a listening ear. She encourages staff to reach their full potential and is a motivator.
