Healthcare Support Worker Paige Turner from Cygnet Newham House has one a Cavell Star Award for going above and beyond for her patient’s families.
Colleague and Hospital Manager Joanna Yarker explains why Paige is such a worthy winner,
“During a recent discharge, parents described Paige as such a wonderful, caring and compassionate person who has helped the family and the patient come to terms with their diagnosis. Paige has listened, made cups of tea, supported through printing out photos of pre-injury lives. She has been so accessible to everyone to ensure they feel that their relatives are safe and loved.”
