L&R Medical UK – Campaign Friend

Almost 200 nursing professionals have already signed up to join the #10kForNurses movement this October! #10kForNurses is the hit campaign which sees nursing professionals across the UK take on a 10k challenge to raise funds for nursing friends in hardship.

Until the end of the campaign in October we are shining the spotlight on the wonderful organisations who are making #10kForNurses possible!

L&R Medical UK is a brilliant Campaign Friend of #10kForNurses 2019, so we chatted to Jane Fox, Marketing Director, to find out what inspired them to join the team and what they are most looking forward to.

“L&R is a leading international supplier of wound care and compression therapy products that provide solutions for patients and healthcare professionals. We are based in Burton upon Trent which is home to the FA’s National Football Centre, Marmite, Branston Pickle and two big breweries!”

Burton upon Trent sounds like you either love it or you hate it! We certainly think it sounds like a brilliant place to work.

In addition to being incredible sponsors this year, L&R Medical UK will also be taking on 10k challenges throughout October to raise life-changing funds for nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants facing personal and financial hardships.

“We are so eager to take part in the #10kForNurses challenge this year. L&R will be running, walking, swimming and baking to raise money for nurses in their time of need. This year members from the L&R team are going to attempt to climb Snowdon in October. We are really looking forward to challenging ourselves to raise money for this fantastic cause.”

Jane further added how proud the team is to be supporting nursing professionals in their time of need:
