In 2022, the Cavell Support team saw a 200% rise in those seeking help from the charity compared to the previous year. And in the first 3 months of 2023, demand for support remains high with a 44% increase in nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants seeking help, compared to the same time last year. As the cost-of-living crisis continues to cause problems for many in the nursing and midwifery family, Cavell is here with the resources to help you through it.

As well as providing one-off grants to quickly relieve financial hardship and provide rapid emergency funding, Cavell has developed a new Support Hub. This is a tailored package of support to help everyone with a variety of resources to empower those seeking help with the tools needed for a more manageable future, both financially and emotionally.

The Support Hub is split into six sections outlined below.
